IBM India Software Lab (ISL) is the largest product development center for IBM outside the United States of America. ISL focuses on developing products, technology and solutions for IBM Software Group and IBM Systems & Technology Group, and is currently located in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Pune, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. ISL also leverages its deep development skills to work with customers, globally and in India, by helping them solve their business problems.

    I am submitting this letter to you for consideration of any future opportunities you have that would meet my qualifications primarily in Call Center Management, Vendor Management and Project Management. Although you do not currently have any openings that fit my qualifications I believe my resume on LinkedIn has details of my history living and working in different countries during my professional career.

    After reading many of the postings on your website I believe I’ve found the perfect match for my skills an abilities but also with a bit of a challenge. I currently have a truly vested interest in outsourcing and have spent time in India working with the Outsourcing Practice for Safeco (now Liberty Mutual Insurance). I was selected as one of two mangers to travel to India as a part of Safeco’s India Experience Project last September. Following the month long engagement I returned to Seattle and participated in a read out to the VP and AVP of the Outsourcing Practice with rave reviews. My time in India was truly an eye opener to the work Liberty Mutual was engaged in offshore and allowed me to bring cultural diversity and understanding back to my team. I consider my work abroad one of my greatest accomplishments while employed by Liberty Mutual and I was honored to have been chosen.

    My work in India was not the first time I had worked abroad as I spent three years living in Germany during my tour with the US Army. This was my first experience in another country and it positively opened my eyes to a different culture with which I was able to succeed in.

    In addition to my work in Germany and India, I have proven experience working with such corporate projects within Liberty Mutual to include developing and managing the disaster recovery plan for the Corporate Help Desk as well as moving the entire help desk and staff from Redmond, WA to the U-District and then later to Safeco Center downtown Seattle, WA.

    As an employee who has progressed from a contractor to an entry level Help Desk Representative, Senior Help Desk Representative, Systems Manager to Supervisor all within the last few years I believe I have proven my tenacious drive to succeed in the corporate arena. I am currently looking for a new role in a different country that will provide a challenge, and for a management position which will allow me to further develop myself.
