REPORTS TO: Head of Distribution & Logistics
ROLE PURPOSE:
The candidate will be responsible for the meticulously planning, development and execution of a sales strategy into stores not owned by the company. Must be able to build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with a variety of distribution partners. The successful candidate will strive for simplifying and continuously improving processes from a customer’s perspective. They will view retailers and distributors as business partners and be committed to continuously striving to improve the value chain in order to ensure unsurpassed customer service.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
In the Business:
- Finance Team
- Sales & Distribution Team
- Customer Care Team
- Marketing Team
Outside the business:
- Distributors/ Dealers
- Vendors
1.Planning
- Create and communicate a detailed sales plan for the sale of SIM cards, top-ups and mobile devices
- Create and implement a marketing plan for individual accounts
- Continuously update plans in accordance with changes in business priorities
2.Processes
- Ensure attention to detail in implementing existing and new processes in line with the company’s objectives
- Distributor Channel management Be responsible and accountable for the end to end management of allocated accounts
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong relationships with existing channel partners
- Continuously seek out new opportunities for channel development
3.Coordination with other departments/teams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ensure that all decisions have an end to end business focus and take into account the potential impact on other areas of the business
4.Reporting/.Monitoring & Tracking
- Constantly monitor and report on channel performance
- Constantly provide feedback on competitor activity
5.Managing of indirect Sales Forces
- Constantly work with Distributor’s sales teams to ensure achievement of mutual goals
- Constantly develop Distributor’s sales teams to ensure consistency of experience for customers in indirect channels
Person Specification
Technical Skills/ Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in the discipline of Business Administration
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- At least 5+ years practical experience with any reputable multinational company in similar role.
- Competent with Microsoft suite – particularly Excel.
- Launch experience
- English and Arabic speaker
