JOB Title: Marketing Copy-Writer

JOB Location: QATAR-Doha, Middle East.
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Head of Marketing communications
FUNCTION: Marketing Communications

Role Purpose
Provide the marketing communications department with creative copy writing to be used in all ATL & BTL campaigns. Copy writing for all correspondence to and with customers across all mediums.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities
1. Creative copy-writing that is on-brand
2. Ability to understand & interpret what the business objective is and putting that into copy
3. Understand media and how to use copy-writing effectively across various media
4. Keeping the Telecom Brand aligned with the values that are set out, through effective use of copy.

Typical Outputs
§ All copy-writing, IVR, SMS, direct mailers, etc
§ Evaluation of creative copy that is received from agencies to ensure that it is on-brand and seek improvement.
§ Developing creative concepts that allow us to proactively seed messages into the market.

Eligibility:
§ Fluency in English
§ Copy writing ability
§ Local insights would be beneficial
§ Qualified copy-writer
§ Creative agency background of at least 5-8 years
§ At least 1-2 Copywriting assignments for Telecom customers is highly desired
