JOB Location: QATAR-Doha, Middle East.

JOB Title: “Retail Operations Senior Specialist”

Job Summary

Help desk: support function to back up the shops in case of any shop/customer inquiry and complain regarding service or needed advise related to product knowledge or reference needed for process clarification, and support and follow up with other request fulfillment departments that’s will provide more efficient and simplicity as there where be only one point of contact for the shops in stead of a complicated matrix

Hot Line: over the phone dedicated mobile number to be on call for the shops issues and reference and will be integrated with the help desk

SPOC: Assigned member of the team, and his role is to coordinate and represent the channel in projects that’s will require input and feedback from the retail team

Projects: Activity or event to be conducted within the retail channel or in conjunction with other departments that’s had an impact on Retail and require a resource to plan accordingly and submit the channel requirements

Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:

  • Allocation  and Replenishment  of stock levels and stores’ inventories
  • To compile reports on stock holding & stock non-delivery. in liaison with relevant colleagues drive through process improvement
  • Stock  –( WH-  Stores’)’ process handling
  • Logistics activities: inventory relocations, shop to shop transfers; returns etc.
  • Maintaining  channel stock capacity, MIN & MAX,  stock consuming& Fast/Slow moving items
  • Retail Reporting scheme
  • Forecasting channel stock necessities, raising per store stock allocations to the warehouse
  • Dedicated on call mobile number to support the shops inquires and resolve issue.
  • Cross functional alignment and SLA’S coordination btw touch points (CC/Facilities/IT/). marketing  and retail shops
  • Application& system accessibility to back up the shops with resolving and accelerating customers requests
  • Communicate channel status: processes gaps, staff needs, and complaints handling matrix.
  • Product knowledge enhancements and quizzes  to ensure that the shops are in good shape
  • Assigned as Retail SPOC to coordinate with internal departments the Retail projects and provide Retail in put when needed
  • Maintaining retail channel updates ready for sharing with relevant parties
  • Support the Retail Operations team members when needed
  • Uniform &name tags coordination internally and recycling list updates
  • Retail SPOC with the finance team regarding the shop requirements for the cash handling (float/petty cash& cash shortage and over.
  • Monitoring &coordinating  channel  capacity for POS material & Merchandizing  and replenishment request
  • Configuring New items description  and good grouping at win cash back office
  • Stationary supplies (Roll paper. Thermal/Stamps…) replenishment & reordering , Follow up for operational items purchase requisitions and orders;
  • Regular & Random stock take

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competencies:

  • Excellence in planning, organizing and coordination
  • Excellent communication  and interpersonal skills
  • Technical or relevant back round in logistics or back office as an advantage
  • PC literate
  • IT Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Retail Store policies/procedures

Experience:

  • Minimum 4-5 years experience of working preferably  in multinational /Telecom
  • Experience of working in gulf or middle east  as an advantage
