Senior Marketing Manager-Corporate Customers
Reports To: Executive Director Corporate & VIP Accounts
Purpose:
The Customer Marketing team will be responsible for setting marketing and business strategy will direct all product and service development and be the single communications channel to customers. This role will jointly own the unit revenue target and as such will direct all customer facing market stimulation and defence, initiatives, events and programmes
Context:
The corporate and VIP accounts BU generates significant amounts of revenue for the company, these customers have particular requirements which are different from individual customers, therefore the ability to market to them directly and to identify products and services specifically for this market will have a major impact on their satisfaction and also revenue generation
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Understand, identify, communicate and champion Corporate customer needs which can be translated into profitable business opportunities
- Lead management of all periodic & ad hoc market research to better understand customer requirements
- Direct, create, plan and execute marketing strategies to defend and grow Corporate customer revenues, including target sectors, named accounts, and defined products to achieve corporate sales targets.
- Manage competitor insight and direct combat strategies.
- Direct production of sales, product, revenue and volume forecasts and performance reporting.
- Development of Corporate customer contact strategy, including Direct Marketing, hospitality, entertainment, exhibitions , events, promotions & other face to face initiatives in support of sales targets.
- Manage the development of all marketing and sales support material, collateral, slide decks, documentation, white papers etc consistent with corporate branding and image.
- Implementation of sales promotion/incentive initiatives in support of strategic & tactical sales initiatives.
- Direct marketing programme calendar to ensure that all product and service marketing campaigns, events and activities are coordinated within and across corporate customer segments to ensure maximum value is derived from any promotional activity.
- Develop and implement CRM strategy, maintain the corporate customer database.
- Lead key internal business partners to ensure availability, accuracy, reliability and consistency of business data, e.g., Customer Profiles and Segmentation data; Product Hierarchy; Call Detail records; and Billing Information.
- Lead, motivate, coach, support, appraise and develop small marketing unit as well as account managers. Lead, influence, direct and motivate senior cross functional/business unit teams to achieve the Corporate, Enterprise and VIP accounts unit objectives.

- Numbers of Products and Services developed and launched successfully v target
- CRM Strategy and Database in place
Qualifications :
- 15 years of total corporate marketing experience is minimum criteria for this role.
- At least 8-10 years of Marketing experience in GSM Telecom firms
- At least 8-10 years of Marketing experience in a Managerial capacity
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or equivalent
- MBA will be a big advantage, though not mandatory.
