JOB ANALYST

Acts as expert on Job analysis and evaluation matters. Prepares job profiles/descriptions, analyses the information and recommends grades ensuring that internal equity is fair and consistent. The position holder will be dealing with all company workforces in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment; requires constant establishing and developing of effective work relations with all staff at all levels.

  • Work as an expert for the job family development and maintenance.
    • Defining levels
    • Placing jobs
    • Determining salary grade levels
    • Key elements
    • Competency mapping
  • Development of job family personnel procedures in areas related to:
    • Creating a position
    • Promotions and review process
  • Provide job analysis and evaluation services across the company to support the ongoing changes and meet company expansion objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain job questionnaires and job descriptions ensuring they are accurate and complete through interviews with incumbents and supervisors.
  • Act as an advisor to management in assigning grades to all positions.
  • Undertake special projects to review departments or segments of the organization.
  • Prepares reports and give presentations and makes appropriate recommendations pertaining to Job Evaluation scheme.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Degree holder in a relevant discipline e.g. HR/Business Administration/Psychology
  • Post-Graduate qualification in HR desirable e.g. PG Dip/MSc/MBA (HR)
  • Professional certification in HR desirable e.g. CIPD

· 8-10 years experience in a related role. Minimum 5 Years as Job Analyst with Methodologies / Tools like: Hay, Mott, MacDonald Mercer etc. Either of these 3 tools is extremely critical

  • Highly skilled communicator/facilitator.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
