Our client is US Headquartered HR & Business Consulting MNC Firm, with offices across the Globe. They are eventually a subsidiary of Fortune 500 company.
JOB Type: Permanent Job.
JOB Location: Jurong East – Singapore.
JOB Title: “ACCOUNTS & PAYROLL MANAGER”.
Salary: Competitive Salary Package .
Direct Supervisor: Director, Singapore office.
Accounts & Payroll Manager –
Responsibilities and Candidate Profile
Finance Control
- Manage Singapore office’s accounts and cash flow and oversee the production of monthly financial reports for submission to head office for consolidation.
- Report and respond promptly to inquiries from head office on financial matters.
- Maintain controls over office expenditure and costs.
- Responsible for submission of business tax returns to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.
- Manage intercompany accounts.
- Manage client billings and receivables settlement.
- Manage third party/vendor billings and settlement.
Personnel Administration
- Respond to requests from Singapore Management Team/Head office on HR policies, compensation and benefit matters.
- Support the formulation and implementation of personnel policy and guidelines.
- Manage such matters as employee insurance, payroll, CPF contributions, leave, bonus programme, expense reimbursement, salaries tax, etc.
Office Administration
- Assist in office space planning.
- Provide such support to the Singapore Management Team as they may require from time to time.
- Arrange office insurance.
- Support such functions as supply control, distribution and purchasing, general maintenance and implementation of office policy. Interface with building management & maintenance company.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate is likely to exhibit most or all of the following skills and attributes:
- Sound knowledge of book keeping/ basic accounting principles.
- Sound knowledge of basic HR (personnel) matters including Singapore corporate regulatory/taxation requirements.
- Strong spreadsheet/database skills.
- Able to deal authoritatively with our outsourced accounting firm and other third party vendors.
- Able to respond in a timely manner to senior management queries.
- Able to issue/process client invoices in a timely manner.
- Able to process all payables in a timely manner.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Able to deal with varying workloads through the course of the month/year.
- Able to multi task and support colleagues in areas outside your normal duties and responsibilities when called on to do so.
- Be friendly, be enthusiastic, be a team player and enjoy your time in the office
